Hi! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to the Personal Development blog feed. Thanks for visiting!

Hi everyone, and welcome to the October 1, 2006 edition of the Personal Development Carnival!

I’d like to use this opportunity and thank Lyman Reed for starting this carnival and also allowing me host this edition on my blog today. I’ve watched this carnival closely since the very beginning, and it really pleases me to see it grow so quickly in the recent months.

Here are all the entries for this week. Please remember that only 1 article for each author is included in any given edition, and so you may not find all the articles you have submitted recently. If you don’t want us to make the decision and pick the best article for you - please don’t send in more than one article at a time.

Hieu Doan presents From Stagnation to Motivation posted at The Truth of the New Age.

Jane Chin presents Be Skeptical of Other People’s Opinions of You posted at On Careers and Life.

Alexander Becker presents WOW: Leap Forward and Benefit from Nonlinear Growth posted at WOW, saying, “Always expect more than others think is possible.”

Andrew Flusche presents Improve Public Speaking By Warming Up Properly posted at Legal Andrew.

Brandon Peele presents Vision Quest posted at GT.

Milo Paulo milo G. Riano presents How to Let Go and Move On posted at Milo Riano, saying, “Letting go of something is probably one of the hardest and longest running thought decision processing and emotional struggle a person has to make especially if it’s special or dear to the person. The thing we hold so dear could vary from one person to another ranging from profession (jobs, work), personal (girlfriend, boyfriend, friend, family), assets (blog, car, watch), etc.”

Paul Piotrowski presents How to Really Be Happy posted at www.PaulPiotrowski.ca.

Madeleine Begun Kane presents How To Disorganize Your Life posted at Mad Kane’s Humor Blog.

Peter Kua presents The FASTEST way to be put off by yoga posted at RadicalHop.com.

Asher Lewis presents Focus on Your Beliefs, Not Your Behavior posted at asherlew.com.

Violeta presents Dr Jekyll or Mr Hyde? It depends on perspective posted at All Tips and Tricks.

Phil B. presents Phil for Humanity: Greed is Good and Bad posted at Phil for Humanity.

Alvin Soon presents What You Didn’t Know About Bruce Lee’s Kick-Ass Success posted at Life Coaches Blog.

Nneka presents The Power Walk: 7 Reasons Why It Beats The Power Nap posted at Balanced Life Center.

Bryan C. Fleming presents Counting Cold Hard Cash posted at Bryan C. Fleming .com.

Patricia presents Eating Disorder Recovery, 14 Years Free: You Can Break From Addictions or Bad Habits Too! posted at Patricia.

oovs presents What Level of Time Management are You At? posted at LifeTraining - Online.

Kevin Harrell presents Live Longer, Live Better - 10 ways to get you started posted at Live Longer, Live Better.

That’s all we have for today! Thanks to everyone who participated, and if you want to submit your blog article to the next edition of The Personal Development Carnival, please use this carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.

Next edition of this carnival is going to be hosted by Lyman Reed at his Creating a Better Life blog.
